LEEP participates in a project that studies the invasion of Acacia longifolia in South America

The LEEP  collaborated in the field campaign of the initiative "Genetic variability in ecosystems recently invaded by Acacia longifolia: a model on a global scale ", held between 7 and 17 May 2019 in Brazil. In this field campaign, carried out along the coast of the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul and on the coast of Uruguay, Prof. João Meira Neto assisted in the collection of plant material from the invasive Acacia longifolia for further molecular analysis, as well as in the collection of data for a description and description of their habitats, in the "Genetic variability study in ecosystems and recently invaded by Acacia longifolia: a model scale on a global scale " within the framework of the Participatory Budget 2018 of CESAM - Center for Environmental and Marine Studies (OP @ CESAM 2018)
